Hey everyone,

Thanks for visiting Aiononlineguides.com, here you’ll find a good collection of guides, tips, and strategy that will help you level faster, earn more kinah (Aion in game money), and remove any frustrations you have so you can enjoy and get more out of the game, after all you pay to play the game for enjoyment.

There are going to be affiliate links for different Aion guides, and if you do buy any strategy guy from those guys in the future, hopefully they will send a commission. If you’ve a problem with the affiliate link simply don’t click on them, read the guides(they are free and always will be) and get what you can from it and that’s it… doesn’t cost you a thing other than your time.

As I try to make all my guides easy to understand for both experienced Massive Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game (MMORPG) players, and the beginner here is a brief introduction to Aion Online.

Aion was developed and release by NCSoft, which is a major game development company in Korea. NCSoft is also the creators of some of the most popular MMORPG titles such as Lineage, Lineage 2, and Guid Wars. Aion was first release in South Korea on November 25, 2008, later in Japan/China, and finally on September 23/25, 2009 in NA/EU respectively under the title of “Aion”.

Aion follows the story of a world Atreia that was torn into half during the war between Empryean Lords(Daeva/Human) and the The Dragon Lords(Balaurs). In the beginner there are 2 different race who inhabits Atreia, Humans, and the Balaurs. The Balaurs being a far more advanced race created by Aion. After the great cataclysm the humans race is divided into 2 factions, the Asmodians, and Elyos. The Asmodian inhabits the upper half of Ateria, the Elyos inhabits the lower half, and the Balaurs inhabits the Abyss also the middle of Ateria. Finally the last thing you need to know is that all 3 factions are at war with each other.

Even though there are 3 different factions in the game, only 2 are playable, the Elyos, and the Asmodians. The Balaur are a None-Playable Character which are controlled by the game, and is also what makes PvPvE(Player vs Player vs Enviroment) possible in Aion.
Aion also has a very unique system which allows you to fly, because of this unique system that allows players to interact from more different angles, then the traditional MMORPGs. So when it comes to PvP/PvE in Aion you’re not only having to pay attention of your front and back, but also what’s above and below you.

There are a four primary class that you start with, and they are the same for both Elyos/Asmodian, Warrior, Mage, Scout, or Priest. After you become a Daeva(reaching leveling 9) you can specialized in a total of eight specialized classes, and again they are the same for both factions. However keep in mind that you may only choose your specialized class according to your primary class. The Primary and Specialized Classes:

Warrior -> Templar, or Gladiator.

Scout -> Ranger, or Assassin.

Mage -> Spiritmaster, or Sorcerer.

Priests -> Cleric, or Chanter.

All classes have their own talents, abilities, and a unique playing style.

You’ll also need to earn kinah(Aion in game currency) to finance your gears, and customable items. Which is a big part of you being successful in the land of Aion.

Another aspect of your Aion strategy is to master different types of professions. There are 2 general type of profession in Aion, first is gather responsible for gathering raw materials, and the second type is Crafting, which puts all the raw materials to use.

– Gather Professions: Aether Gathering, Vitality Gathering

– Crafting Professions: Weaponsmith, Armorsmith, Tailoring, Cooking, Alchemy, and Handicraft.

I love Aion I’ve personally been playing since close beta, but I’ve a life outside of the game just like everyone else. I work from 8 am till I’m off work around 6 pm, and after work I eat dinner, handling some family stuff, then I got my 3 – 4 hours of Aion time.

I don’t consider myself a slow leveler, but there is always some one that seem to level faster, and have more kinah for better gears. At first I thought they cheat, bot, and buy kinah with real money, but after talking to them I found out they’re legit. So I know there is something I’m missing, something I’m not doing.

While looking for answers on the Aion forums one day, I stumble upon a post about Kozen’s Aion Mastery Guide, the post had a lot of good thing said about this particular guide. I’m not 100% convinced but I decided to check it out.

After looking through the short sales page, and the testimonials I was still not convicted that this Aion guide is going to help. Then I saw the 60 Day Guarantee at the bottom of the page with 100% money back, and the guide only costing $37, I went ahead and got it.

Once my order went through, an email was sent to me with my member account information. I logged in to the members area, and downloaded all the guide. After viewing just how many different guides came with the package, I’m a bit relief of the idea that this guide isn’t going to help me.

Inside Kozen’s Aion Master Guide:

Asmodian Level 1 – 50 Guide

Elyos Level 1 – 50 Guide

Flight Guide

Grinding Guide with maps & locations of best grinding spots for every level

Kinah Guide

Rifting Guide with all Rift locations

Title Guide

Enchantments, Manastones, & Godstones Guide

Crafting & Gathering Guide

Abyss Guide with detail Abyss layout, and Fortress informations

Free Future Updates of all guides

After just browsing through a few of them I’m impressed. The guides are simple, and easy to understand, yet it is also comprehensive with Maps, Pictures, and step by step quests guide. Other then the leveling guide, I was really amazed at the amount of detail for the kinah, and Abyss guide. The kinah guide does talk about using the action house, but it even include the best time to trade, and the type of sellers/buyers you’re dealing with.

Kozen’s Aion Guides were great, but it’s not the most impressive part of the package. I didn’t realize at the beginning but I also get access to a private members forum, which has tons of video guides on, pvp, leveling, and other topics. Also with hundreds of other like minded members on the forum, I was able to share my own tips, and strategies.

I didn’t deleted my character, and started a new one after I got Kozen’s Aion Master Guide, but it didn’t matter. After following the Asmodian Leveling Guide step by step, I went from level 34 to 40 in just a little over a week, but the most important of all I had a lot more fun playing Aion without having to guess what to do next. The best part of this is, a few friend that I play Aion with even asked me how I got so far ahead of them all of a sudden.

If you’re anything like me and wants to get ahead in Aion, or if your just new to Aion. Go and pick up a copy of Kozen’s Aion Mastery Guide right now, with the huge amount of content for such a small price, and a 60 day money back guarantee, it just doesn’t get any better.

This is part 2 of the two part Aion leveling guide for the Asmodian, if you missed part 1 please click here.

Again I just want to remind everyone that this guide is a general guide from level 1 – 10 for the Asmodian only. Now if you’re looking for a more comprehensive guide, that covers both faction in detail I recommend: Kozen’s Aion Mastery Guide

Part 3: Anturoon Sentry Post & Ishalgen Prison Camp

Once arrive at Anturoon Sentry Post, remember to soul bind there, then turn in any post that needs to be turned in, and find some new quest to pick up. You’ll see 2 NPC Derot, and Mijou with yellow arrow above them, they have 2 new campaign quest for you. The campaign quest you get from Derot are lower level that send you to Ishalgen Prison Camp area, while the one Mijou gives you is harder and requires you to go to Odella Plantaion, save the Mijou one for later.

[Campaign]Treasure of the Deceased - Speak to Derot to begin, go to Ishalgen Prison Camp and hunt Vengeful Ghosts for 4 Treasure of Deceased, then return to Derot.

[Campaign]A Charmed Cube - After you completed “Treasure of the Deceased”, Derot wants you to go knock on Tombstones in the prison camp until a ghost appears, slay the ghost and bring the treasure back to Derot. Now you must take the Charmed Cube to Munin located at the most north end of the prison camp, hunt 3 Grave Sparkles, go back to Munin, finally go back to Derot for your rewards.

[Campaign]Teaching a Lesson - Speak to Mijou to begin, go to Odella Plantation and collect 5 Odella from Fallen Gray Mane Sentinels, and bring them back to Mijou.

[Campaign]Hit Them Where it Hurts – After you completed “Teaching a…”, go back to Plantation area, and gather 7 Mau Grain Sacks, they are usually in those huts. Return the sacks to Mijou, finally go all the way back to Aldelle Village and speak to Ulgorn.

Food Bandits – Speak to Mijou, go and hunt 9 Fanged Karnif’s

A Brax Skin Rug - Speak to Denma, hunt Brax for 8 Brax Skins. Remember only Brax drops skins, and Brax Calf do not.

Checking on a Friend - This quest actually requires you to be level 6, speak to Mijou to begin this quest, all you have to do is head towards Ishalgen Prison Camp till you find Ere.

You’ll also be able to obtain the 4 quest listed below which starts from Derot, however they are chain quest so you must completed them one after another.

1) Up to no Good - To get the quest first speak to Derot in Anturoon Sentry Post, he’ll ask you to find him a Pirate’s Journal from Eyvindr Sailors and Peons, so head south and kill them until you obtain a Journal. Head back to Derot once you have the Journal.

2) A Cursed Opal – Derot tells you to deliver the Journal to Lidun, who is pretty much right beside him the Sentry Post.

3) Treasure Map – Lidun send you to the Pirate Ship to find a treasure map, the map is located on a ship which is south of the Post. Where you hunt Eyvindr keep heading south till you find a path that spiral downwards to a ship, hope on the ship and the map should be in the middle. There is only one map at a time, that means if another player was there before you and got the map you must wait for it to re-pop, which takes about 5 minutes. Bring the map back to Lidun to complete the quest.

4) The Black Opal - Now Lidun send you to retrieve the Black Opal in a Jewel Box, the Jewel box is located in a cave south of the post, and slightly east from the pirate ship. Be careful once you enter the cave as it is guarded by Carak, a level 8 boss mob. Open the box and get the Black Opan, then return to Lidun to receive your rewards.

While you’re working on your quests in the Ishalgen Prison Area, you’ll run in to a ghost that patrols up and down the path, his anme is Jephani, and he has a quest for you. Also when you’re hunting Vengeful Ghosts for the quest “Treasure of the Deceased” you might or might not get a Silver Neckalce drop, it is actually an item to start a quest, for details of both quest see below.

Tip: There is a mini boss mob name Rusty Treehands in the prison camp area, he is level 8 pretty easy to kill and drops some good items for your level, so kill him if you see him.

Ashes to Ashes - Double click the necklace to start the quest, then speak to the Ghost of Prison Camp Sentinel he walks up and down the path, he’ll ask you to find 3 Victim’s Bones which are pretty much everywhere in the camp area. Once you obtain 3 bones go and cremate them at the incinerator, to find the incinerator follow the path north until you see a up slop ramp, don’t go up the ramp instead go to the right of it you’ll see the incinerator. After just report to the sentinel and your done.

Captain’s Secret – Speak to Jephani to begin, collect 5 Sparkle Legs from Grave Sparkles, and 3 Ampha Thorns from Thorned Ampha.

There is also anther quest which starts from Munin, the quest is called “The Imprisoned Gourmet”. Munin wants you to find a delicacy and bring it to him, you can either bring Ginseng Root – Munin`s Hat, Methu`s Egg – Munin`s Waist Band, or Spark`s Egg – 500 Kinah. Depending on what you bring him the rewards are different, Ginseng Root would give you the best reward, but it is up to you.

Tip: Ginseng root drops from Dundun Farmers in Plantation, Methu`s egg is in a hut right at the back of the Plantation, and Sparkie Egg drops of Wood Sarky.

Hopefuly at this point you should be level 8, if you`re not level 8 yet get to level 8 by killing mobs, then head back to Anturoon Post. At the Post, and level 8 speak to Mijou to get a quest call “The Robbery Plot”, all you have to do for this quest is fly back to Aldella Village speak to Hephe, then fly back to the Post take the North-West road towards Odella Plantation and speak to Alfrigh.

Part 4: Odella Planation & Dubaro Vine Canyon

Warning: Just a reminder, once you reach level 9 STOP what you`re doing and skip everything and begin reading Part 5 of this guide.

Once you’ve c found Alfrigh from completion of “The Robbery Plot” quest, speak to him again for 2 new quests, then speak to Devalin who is right beside him for another 2 quests.

Alfrigh’s Request - You must have at least 15 + skill points in your Vitality skill to complete this quest. Speak to Alfrigh, then go gather 5 Iron Ore in the Plantation area.

A Good Tonic - Speak to Alfrigh, then go obtain 8 Dried Ginseng Root from Dundun Farmers, or Dundun Sentrys.

As Much As You Can Carry – Speak to Deavlin, collect 7 bottles of Odella Juice from Dundun Urns. The Urns are on the side or behind the huts.

Pearls Before Swine – Speak to Deavlin, collect 8 Mau Adomments from Gray Mane Fighters.

Now that you’ve complete all of the above quest, head back to Anturoon Post, then fly back to Aldelle Village. At the village speak to Ulgorn to begin your final campaign quest in Ishalgen, this should be the only quest you can get at the village. While you’re working on your final campaign quest , you`ll run into Nalto in the Dubaro Vine Canyon, he also have a quest for you.

Tip: If you need potion or bandage, it is a good idea to do it now also remember to buy all your skill books.

[Campaign]Where`s Rae This Time? – Keep in mind that you can’t start this campaign quest unless you’ve completed all the other campaign quests in Ishalgen. After you speak to Ulgorn, peak to Nobekk, then go to Anturoon Post and speak to Derot, and finally go to the Canyon and speak to Nalto. Head deep in to the Canyon till you see a room with the Abyss Gate before you enter the very small area to the left by the entrance, that is where Rae is speak to her, then go destroy the generators. You must destroy the generators in order first the Green to the right, then Blue to the left, and finally Violet right in front of the Abyss Gate. Once you destroy all 3 generators, you`ll have to destroy the gate itself, be careful as it is guarded by Hatata the Torturer. Go back to Rae speak to her again after you destroy the gate, then go all the way back to Ulgorn for your final rewards.

Suspicious Activity - Speak to Nalto to begin, defeat Hatata the Torturer, and his Gray Mane Guard Fighters.

At this point you`ll have complete all the quests available in the definitely be level 9 by now, you`ve probably skip ahead and completed your Ascension quest already, but if not read the next part.

Part 5: Ascension & Pandaemonium

Once you reach level 9 stop what you`re doing, at level 9 you’re automatically given your Ascension quest which rewards you with 73200 XP. 73200 XP is the entire exp require to reach level 10, and since you can never reach level 10 till you have completed A Ceremony in Pandaemonium quest which is after Ascension, all the extra exp you gain at level 9 is wasted.

Follow the path along the prison camp north till you reach a yellow crystal with a guy in side name Munin, speak to him about the Ascension quest, he’ll ask you to get a card which tells the past from Urd. If you have return use return to get back to Sentry Post, then fly to Aldella village to speak to Urd, Urd will then tell you to get the symbol of present from Verdandi, so head to Munihele and speak to Verdandi.

Now you must find Skuld and get the card of fortell the furture, Skuld is located south of Sentry Post. Finally head all the way back to Munin and he will send you to Ataxiar, in Ataxiar speak to Hagen, then he you will need to hunt 4 Guardian Assassin, and then Brigade General Hellion. After you defeated Hellion, Munin will appear in front of you, speak to him and choose your specialize profession, and he’ll port you back to Ishalgen. Speak to Munin again, and he’ll ask you if you’re ready to port up to Pandamonium, click yes, and he’ll teleport you. Don’t worry you’ll be able to come back to Ishalgen later.

At Pandaemonium speak to Heimdall he should be straight ahead of you, then head to Great Temple of Pandaemonium and speak to Balder, finally meet your class trainer to get your rewards. Congrats your now level 10! Note: To get to the Great Temple, you must use the down slop ramp on the Vifrost Bridge in Pandaemonium.

Are you leveling too slow because you don’t have enough time to play? Do you loss at PvPs because you don’t have the best equipments?

This is a very simple Aion leveling guide for the Asmodian, all I’m going to cover is level 1 to 10. This guide is going to be very detail and cover all the quests/campaign quests, this isn’t the fastest way to reach level 10, the fastest way that I know of to reach level 10 is actually just grinding.

Grinding isn’t for everyone, and you’ll miss a lot of quest, and especially campaign quest which is required to be completed in order for you to unlock your Fenris quests at level 50. Also if you’re new to Aion or MMORPG in general take it slow you’re not racing anyone, the point is to have fun… so follow this guide.

If you are looking for a more complete step by step, with pictures and videos guide on getting your character level fast in Aion Online then check out:Kozen’s Aion Mastery Guide

Aion Leveling Guide – Getting Started:

Once you have chosen your race and created your character, you’ll enter the world of Aion. Take some time to get a good handle of the game and it’s interface, for veteran player who are familiar with mmorpgs, playing Aion should be a breeze for you, as it is very similar to many other MMORPGs. For those who are just starting out it’s a good idea to learn how to navigate your way around the world and getting to know how to use your skills and toolbars. I know I usually skip the turutial videos, but they are really good and useful for the new players, so I suggest you use them.

Part 1: Aldelle Hill & Aldelle Village

Warning: Before you start reading this guide, once you reach level 9 STOP what you`re doing and skip everything and begin reading Part 5 of this guide.

As you load up your character and enter the world of Aion, you’ll find yourself in an open plain called “Aldelle Hill”. Before you start to move around, you’ll see an NPC name “Asak” with a quest arrow above his head in front of you, he’ll give you the quest “On Your Feet!” which requires you to find and speak to Vandar. Once you have accepted the quest head north and you’ll find Vandar.

Once you find Vandar speak to him and receive your rewards, and right after you receive your rewards, Vandar will hand you a new quest call “A Bloody Task”, accept the quest and go to nearby him and hunt 4 Sprigg Workers, they are very easy shouldn’t be a problem. After you have successfully hunted 4 Sprigg Workers head back to Vandar and accept your rewards. Vandar will now give you another quest “The Sprigg Report”, which requires you to deliver a report to Guheitun, head further north along the road and you’ll see a campsite with NPCs, one of them is Guheitun, speak to him and complete your quest.

Right beside Guheitun, you’ll see Vanar he has a quest arrow above him, speak to him and he’ll hand you the quest “Meeting the Fruit Quota”, accept the quest and go find 4 Fruit Baskets. Fruit baskets are located in the Sprigg habitats, there are many habitats in the Aldella Plains.

Once you have gathered 4 fruit basket head back to Vanar to receive your rewards. He’ll then hand you a new quest “Report to Sparkle and Shine “, basically Vanar wants you to get 3 Glowing Sphere from Hill Sparkies, so go and hunt some Hill Sparkies and get 3 sphere. Return to Vanar once you have all 3 sphere, turn them in, and he will give you your rewards. Now Vanar has his final quest for you “Vanar’s Flattery”, it requires you to deliver the fruits to Tobu in Aldella village.

Tip: While you questing in the Adella Plain area you’ll see some plants call Azpha, now you don’t have to but it is a good idea to gather 10 of them, as they are required for a quest later in the village.

At this point you should be level 3, if you’re not level 3 yet don’t worry about it head to Adella village anyway. Upon entering the village you’ll be automatically give 2 new quest one of which is your first Campaign quest ” Order of the Captain” and all you have to do is speak to Ulgorn near the church in the village. The other quest is called “A New Skill”, to complete this quest you must find you’ll class trainer, the village is pretty small so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding him/her.

Part 2: Lake Tunapre & Munihele Forest

Tip: Remember you can soul bind, in order to soul bind find a big half bird, half human look stone that glows green and double click it. Once you’re soul bind to a particular area, upon death you return to your bind spot.

Before you leave Akarious village there are a few things you should do, first turn in the quests you received earlier in Aldella plain to Tobu for your rewards. Now if you’ve gather 10 Azpha earlier in the plain, you can now accept a new quest call ” Azpha For Health And Wellbeing” from Nobekk, and then complete it, if you did not gather 10 Azpha earlier don’t worry it’s not a big deal, you can always gather them later and complete the quest. You should speak to Boromer for “Thinking Ahead’, you should also speak to Kaindal, Urg, Nobekk, and Barcorerk for 4 other quests.

[Campaign]Thinking Ahead – Obtain 4 Grain Sacks from Sprigg Village in Lake Tunapre area, report back to Boromer. Go and hunt 6 Sprigg Gathers, and report back to Boromer again for your rewards.

[Campaign]The Search for Rae – In Munihele Forest speak to Dabi located near the enterance of the forest, Dadi ask you to speak with Verdandi, follow the road South and you’ll see a little house with fence around it she is standing outside. After speaking with Verandi, she ask you to go hunt 7 Whitefood Daru, do that and go back to Verandi, she then ask you to go collect 1 Spore Sac(Spore sacs look like mushroom that are growing out of trees look around the tree stumps to find them).

Once you obtain 1 Spore sac go back to Verdandi again, she tells you about your pass, and then you have to find Rea out of a number of Ribbits. All the Ribbits look exactly the same, so to find Rea look for the one name “Cute Ribbit” instead of Ugly, there should only be one, once you find her speak to her, and then go back to Ulgorn at Aldella Village to get your rewards.

Note: Whitefoot Daru are pack mobs, although they are none aggressive mobs, but if you attack an Abex while it’s near another Whitefoot Daru that one will help and attack you as well.

The Shinier the Better - Deal with Bacorerk, go and hunt Web Slinks for 5 Slink Oil.

Idle Hands - Speak to Kaindal to begin, then report to Motgar at the Sap Farm around the Munihele Forest area.

Urd′s Request – Speak to Urd to begin, go to Lake Tunapre, and hunt Blackbeak Airon for 6 Airon Breast Feathers.

While you’re in Lake Tunapre work on the above quest find, and speak to Bolir for 2 quests.

Love in Bloom - Search Ampreh for 6 Ampreh Flower, if you don’t know what they are look for purple flowers in the lake and click on them.

For Love of Negi -After you completed “Love in Bloom” you can begin this quest, all you have to do is deliver the Ampreh Bonquest to Negi who is right beside Bolir, then tell Bolir the result.

[Optional]Rolled Scroll - The reason this quest is optional is because, you must first get an item called “Rolled Scroll” to start the quest. The scroll drops of Blackbeak Airon but is rare, so if you do get it as a drop double click to start, and speak to Ulgron, then Linevir in the village.

Tip 2: You can also upgrade your cube at the cube artisan Shugo NPC in the village to increase you’re backpack storage slot.

Tip 3: Since you can only buy new skill books at the village, you don’t want to always go back to the village every time you reach the level to learn new skills. It is a good idea to but as many skill books as you can to save some trips.

After you completed all of the above quests that you can, head to Munihele Forest. As you enter the forest area you’ll see Motgar, and Dabi NPC standing at a crossroad, speak to them and get the following quests. Also remember Since most of the campaign quest “Searching for Rea’ takes place in the forest it is a good idea to do the quest now.

The Insect Problem – You can only get this quest from Motgar if you have completed “Idle Hands”. Hunt 10 Gooey Sylphens, or Grove Sparkies. It really doesn’t make much of a different which you choose to hunt.

Token of a Lost Love - Speak to Dabi, hunt Arma Snuffler till you find a Shiny SIlver Ring(It can be rare).

Sap for Leather -You actually have to be level 5 to start this, so get to level 5 speak to Dabi, then just deliver something to Dalor back at the Village.

[Optional]The Lost Axe – To start this quest you must first get an Old Scroll drop from White Foot Daru. Once you obtain the scroll double click to start the quest, go and find an Iron Axe stuck on a tree by Daru Spring. After some cut scene speak to the old man Gunghelm he is going to ask you 3 quest and depends on how you answer them the reward you get is different. For the best result/reward use the following answers: Gold Axe – Not yours, Silver Axe – Not yours, Iron Axe- Yes, it’s yours.

If you’re not level 5 yet and can’t start the Sap for Leather quest , I suggest you kill a few mobs in the area till you’re and grab the quest. Once you done all quests including “The Search for Rea” head back to Aldella village.

At the village speak to Dalor turn in “Sap for Leather” quest, and get a new quest” A Delivery of Leather”. All you have to do for the quest is deliver some leather to Denma at Anturoon Sentry Post. It is a good idea at this point to get all your skill books up till level 9 if you can, or at least level 7 then use the fly transporter and fly to Arturoon Crossing.

Once your level 6 head to Arturoon Crossing, if you’re already in the area then go to Anturoon Sentry Post which is the big tower on the map. A reminder at this point you should have all your skill books up to level 5 at least, if not go get them.

At the camp there is an optional chain quest you can work on, the reason it’s optional is because it’s pretty long and takes time up, but it does give you your first title as reward, so if you choose to complete the optional quests read below for the guide. If you’re not planning to complete those quest head south of Sentry post until you see Eyvindr Peons, and Sailors hunt them until you’re level 7.

There was a post on aiononline.com recently with a really small list that’s going to be included in the up coming Patch 1.9. Release day of the patch was not announce.

Here is the entire article:

Greetings folks,

As some of our more observant followers noticed, a top secret, critical meeting just took place between our European and North American offices. This meeting was held in parallel with a press conference with over 60 invited journalists that took place at the same time in NCsoft’s Korean headquarters.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a transcript of the meeting to share. Security precautions for the meeting were aggressive—including the use of lava pits and muscular bulls—which made leaking the information during the meeting an uninviting option. The objective of the meeting was to nail down the patch notes of the upcoming version 1.9 patch for Aion.

We don’t know whether it was because of our tactful dialogue with the parties involved, our supreme abilities of persuasion, or perhaps Kinslon’s affinity for chocolate, but we were able to procure permission to publish some highlights about what was discussed in spite of the meeting’s confidential nature.

• New skills for every class (including new skills specifically for countering stun attacks)

• Dozens of daily quests with different objectives and rewards

• New quests, increased quest rewards, and increased instance drop rates

• Dredgion enhancements

• Max item enchantment increased to +15

• An increase in experience gain (including a new experience bonus system: Energy of Salvation)

• Soul Healing, Soul Binding, and Flight Transportation cost decreases

• A mechanic that allows two two-handed weapons to be combined to create one more powerful two-handed weapon

• Looking for group (LFG) functionality improvements

• Numerous user interface improvements

Stay tuned, and make sure to grab the tentative patch notes (far exceeding 20 pages in length) when they’re published later this week.

Just like the Elyos the Asmodian also gets access to the Fire Temple, yep it is a share instance, and the first instance that has very nice gold weapon drops from the final boss. But unlike the Elyos where getting their Fire Temple Key can be time consuming, the Asmodian’s Fire Temple Key quest is extremely annoying, and stupid. It is one of few quests in Aion that is just there to piss you off, with horrible game design, and stuffs that just don’t make sense. Don’t get me wrong, Aion overall has some great features, and unique game play/design, but this is not one of them.

For Elyos Fire Temple Key Quest Guide please click here.

To start your quest you’ll need to be at least level 27, you’ll get the quest automatically, and it is a campaign quest. The quest is call “[Group] The Three Keys”, yep it is a group quest, and it might seem cool at first that Asmodians can start their quest at level 27, while Elyos have to wait to 30, well it is NOT! THIS QUEST IS HARD, especially at level 27.

First go meet Anund at Morheim Ice Fotress, then you must head to Arkanis Sky Temple and meet Bulagan, the sky temple area is fly enable so you can fly. To get to Arkanis Sky Temple it is a good idea to fly to Alsig Village and go from there see map below.

Bulagan is a big Fire Elemental Spirit, who stands on some ledge just ouside of the Sky Temple entrance. After speaking to Bulagan, he’ll give you the Water Room key, which is one of the room for Sky Temple, you must go in the Water room and find the rest of the keys.

The Sky temple has 3 different entrance they are all together in a triangle, and all are guarded by mobs, the fire room being the hardest is guarded by a elite mob. Anyway find a group, and enter the water room. As soon as you enter the water room a cinematic will popup and explain what you’ll have to do, I suggest you watch the clip even though most of it are pretty useless, but it does give you a feel how the temples are structured because there are no maps once your inside.

The Water room is simple you’ll need to find a Water Spirit, which is at the far end of the room from where you enter, kill it and get the key to the Wind Room. Once you obtain the Wind Room Key exit back to Morheim through some secret door on of the of wall in the water room. This is the first stupid part of the quest, remember all entrance are guarded by mobs, and they respawn… so when you exit there is a very good chance that they are up, and if your group members are not paying attention will be ready to die. Anyway once your back outside find the Wind room entrance and go in.

In the Wind Room you’ll probably realize that there are no Wind Spirits, instead it is filled with Earth spirits. This is where the where stupid parts begins! Not only that there are no maps of this instance, but you’ll need to “somehow” figure out that you have jump , and glide from one room to another. And to make things even harder the room you have to glide is filled with Elite mobs, with hardly any safe spot to land on. The reason you have to do all that is because, the actual wind room with the mob that drops the fire key is below the earth spirit room.

Now that you are in the real wind room, you’ll see a lot of wind spirits. Here is another confusing part after going through all that, you’ll find that the mob that drops the Fire Key which is not a wind spirit but an earth spirit name Fire Key Guardian. Well at least they give us a easy name to look for.

The Fire Key Guardian is along the outside walls of the whole room, and not in the middle. The best way to located it is by using your radar and hover you’re mouse over the red dots that represents the mobs until you find one with the name “Fire Key Guardian”. If I remember this correctly after you get your Fire Key, you’ll have to glide from the wind room to the water room which you can’t see even on the radar, or maybe there is an exit in the wind room. I can’t remember which direction you have to glide, or if you have to glide at all.

After you’re back out of the Wind room, head in to the Fire room to get your final key, this is the hardest part of the whole quest. In the Fire room, you’ll have to clear enough mobs along the wall till you have a safe spot to glide/jump down to the second room. Keep in mind there are no safe spot to land on, so make sure everyone in your group is focus, and not afk. In the second room you must clear enough mobs to be able to jump to the 3rd room which is east of where you would be.

The 3rd room is the final room you have to be in, the boss mob “Abyssal Key Guard” that drop the Abyss Key is at the top of the stairs on the platform. Once you get your final key use the wall door to go back to Morheim, but be careful as the mobs that is guarding the fire room probably have respawned. Back at Morheim speak to Bulagan, then go to Alsig Village and report to Glkugin to complete this annoying quest and gain access to fire temple.

You’re almost level 30, and you heard from friend, other players, or guild mates that Fire Temple is your first real instance dungeon with cool gold weapon drops, but you don’t know how to get keyed to access the temple. So where is a quick guide on how to get your Fire Temple Key as an Elyos.

For Asmodian Fire Temple Key Quest Guide please click here.

Getting your Fire Temple Key as an Elyos is actually pretty simple compare to the Asmodians, it just takes some luck and patience. Unlike the Asmodians, Elyos can only begin their Fire Temple Key quest from level 30 +, while Asmodians can begin their quest as early as level 27, but their quest is much harder and annoying.

The level 30 quest that give you access to fire temple is call “The Fire Temple Key” …. very creative, to start this quest you must first find the key/item called “Fire Temple Key”. Now you don’t need to be level 30 to start farming the mobs that drops the key, however keep in mind that all mobs that drops the key are 5 star level 33 – 35 mobs, they hit very hard. There are 3 type of mobs that drops the Fire Temple Key, and they are all located at the Kyola Temple area. You can hunt Raging Obscura during the day time for the key, they are located outside of the Kyola Temple, or you can hunt Shadow Obscura/Chaotic Temptress at day time for they key and they are inside the Temple. The Fire Temple key drop rate is pretty rare, sometimes you’ll get it from your first kill, sometimes the 10th, and sometime you won’t get the key after hundreds of kills it all depends on your luck. Once you get the key drop, double click to key to start the quest, and speak to NPC Actaeon located just outside of Kyola Temple to gain access to the Temple.

Here are picture of the mobs that drops your key (click the image to enlarge).

Oh one more thing, if you’re wondering what where the entrance to the Temple is, it is inside the Kyola Temple. Head down follow the path to a big room, the make a left into a room with a big door, the door is the entrance.

Here is a quick guide for the Asmodian campaign quest Looking for Leibo. I had a lot of treble when I first attempted this quest at level 27ish on my Asmodian Assassin, the quest itself isn’t hard, no killing require, the hard part is to actually find the NPC Lugbug.

To begin this quest you must first be at least level 26, once level 26 teleport to Reshanta(Abyss) Primum Fortress and speak to Scoda to begin this quest. Scoda wants you to meet with Munin in Ishalgen, and Munin wants you to go to Pandaemonium and speak to Kasir, then Lyeanenerk.

Now you must go back to Reshanta and find Lugbug, but before you actually go to Reshanta DO NOT FORGET to get a Temporal Stone which is required later to complete the quest, get the stone now so you don’t have to make an extra trip later. To acquire the Temporal Stone you can either craft it yourself with Alchemy 199 and above, or you can purchase it from other players usually there are lots on the Trade Broker under the Other section.

Once you have a Temporal Stone, you must go back to Reshanta and find Lunbug. Lugbug is located in the middle of Lower Reshanta(Abyss), he is on a small island, and is literary located in the middle of the map below the core. The core itself isn’t shown on the lower Abyss map, but you must think 3D, there is Upper Abyss, Core, then Lower Abyss. To reach this island you must fly there, but at level 26 you probably won’t have enough fly time to get there. So you must glide, gliding prolongs the amount of fly time you have. If your familiar with gliding in no fly zone then fly-gliding is pretty much the same, all you have to do is fly up like you would normally do, then push space bar to glide, to go back to fly mode just push space bar again. Even with gliding at level 26 you’ll probably run out of flight time so keep a few regular fly serums with you to recharge your fly time as needed, it beats dying and losing exp.

Here is a map that will show you where to start gliding, and where to the Lugbug island is located on the map.

Also keep in mind that Abyss is an open pvp zone, and both Elyos/Asmodian has to speak to Lugbug to complete their campaign quest so beware of Elyos.

To complete this quest once you’re on the island speak to Lugbug, he wants you to activate “Artifact of the Inception” with your Temploral Stone, then speak to Lugbug again, and go back to Scoda to get your rewards. That’s all for this Aion quest guide Looking for Leibo.
