Just like the Elyos the Asmodian also gets access to the Fire Temple, yep it is a share instance, and the first instance that has very nice gold weapon drops from the final boss. But unlike the Elyos where getting their Fire Temple Key can be time consuming, the Asmodian’s Fire Temple Key quest is extremely annoying, and stupid. It is one of few quests in Aion that is just there to piss you off, with horrible game design, and stuffs that just don’t make sense. Don’t get me wrong, Aion overall has some great features, and unique game play/design, but this is not one of them.

To start your quest you’ll need to be at least level 27, you’ll get the quest automatically, and it is a campaign quest. The quest is call “[Group] The Three Keys”, yep it is a group quest, and it might seem cool at first that Asmodians can start their quest at level 27, while Elyos have to wait to 30, well it is NOT! THIS QUEST IS HARD, especially at level 27.
First go meet Anund at Morheim Ice Fotress, then you must head to Arkanis Sky Temple and meet Bulagan, the sky temple area is fly enable so you can fly. To get to Arkanis Sky Temple it is a good idea to fly to Alsig Village and go from there see map below.
Bulagan is a big Fire Elemental Spirit, who stands on some ledge just ouside of the Sky Temple entrance. After speaking to Bulagan, he’ll give you the Water Room key, which is one of the room for Sky Temple, you must go in the Water room and find the rest of the keys.
The Sky temple has 3 different entrance they are all together in a triangle, and all are guarded by mobs, the fire room being the hardest is guarded by a elite mob. Anyway find a group, and enter the water room. As soon as you enter the water room a cinematic will popup and explain what you’ll have to do, I suggest you watch the clip even though most of it are pretty useless, but it does give you a feel how the temples are structured because there are no maps once your inside.
The Water room is simple you’ll need to find a Water Spirit, which is at the far end of the room from where you enter, kill it and get the key to the Wind Room. Once you obtain the Wind Room Key exit back to Morheim through some secret door on of the of wall in the water room. This is the first stupid part of the quest, remember all entrance are guarded by mobs, and they respawn… so when you exit there is a very good chance that they are up, and if your group members are not paying attention will be ready to die. Anyway once your back outside find the Wind room entrance and go in.
In the Wind Room you’ll probably realize that there are no Wind Spirits, instead it is filled with Earth spirits. This is where the where stupid parts begins! Not only that there are no maps of this instance, but you’ll need to “somehow” figure out that you have jump , and glide from one room to another. And to make things even harder the room you have to glide is filled with Elite mobs, with hardly any safe spot to land on. The reason you have to do all that is because, the actual wind room with the mob that drops the fire key is below the earth spirit room.
Now that you are in the real wind room, you’ll see a lot of wind spirits. Here is another confusing part after going through all that, you’ll find that the mob that drops the Fire Key which is not a wind spirit but an earth spirit name Fire Key Guardian. Well at least they give us a easy name to look for.
The Fire Key Guardian is along the outside walls of the whole room, and not in the middle. The best way to located it is by using your radar and hover you’re mouse over the red dots that represents the mobs until you find one with the name “Fire Key Guardian”. If I remember this correctly after you get your Fire Key, you’ll have to glide from the wind room to the water room which you can’t see even on the radar, or maybe there is an exit in the wind room. I can’t remember which direction you have to glide, or if you have to glide at all.
After you’re back out of the Wind room, head in to the Fire room to get your final key, this is the hardest part of the whole quest. In the Fire room, you’ll have to clear enough mobs along the wall till you have a safe spot to glide/jump down to the second room. Keep in mind there are no safe spot to land on, so make sure everyone in your group is focus, and not afk. In the second room you must clear enough mobs to be able to jump to the 3rd room which is east of where you would be.
The 3rd room is the final room you have to be in, the boss mob “Abyssal Key Guard” that drop the Abyss Key is at the top of the stairs on the platform. Once you get your final key use the wall door to go back to Morheim, but be careful as the mobs that is guarding the fire room probably have respawned. Back at Morheim speak to Bulagan, then go to Alsig Village and report to Glkugin to complete this annoying quest and gain access to fire temple.
