NCSoft Announce Aion Launch Date

Following the end of the 2nd closed beta, the Aion team has finally release the official launch date for Aion both in North America and Europe. The release date for North America is set to be September 22, 2009 and closely following that is the Europe release on September 25, 2009!

There are two ways to obtain the game; standard purchase through your favorite retail stores such as Amazon, Gamestop and EBGames or direct-download from the official NCSoft Store.

My personal opinion, if you don’t care about the box, nice art books, the sexy figurine of Aiva, and don’t mind downloading over 8GB, then get the digital version and save $10.00 U.S. I pre-purchased the digital version of the game.

NCSoft reminds you that if you’re gonna purchase the game anyway, why not spend the same money and take advantage of the special preorder promotion?
